Dr Chantre has always been passionate about the way medicine can improve people’s quality of life. He completed his medical degree at the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences in Porto and went on to specialise in ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) at the Central Lisbon University Hospital Centre.
Well known for his scientific contributions, he is the author of 20 national and international publications and has received 12 scientific merit awards.
At Alegria Medical Centre, he values a patient-centred approach, adapting care to the specific needs of each individual – a philosophy he applies in his daily practice. He believes that therapeutic success is built on regularity and persistence from the patient.
