Dr Mariana Gamito is gynecologist at Alegria. She was born and raised in Lisbon and spent a semester in Strasbourg. However, her proficiency in French is a “work in progress” ;-). She has wanted to become a doctor since her early years, and she is overjoyed to have realized this aspiration.
She choosed Gynecology because she loves to be able to accompany women throughout all stages of their lives. It is a very diverse specialty in which everyday can be different, not only because of the many dimensions that it includes, but also because every patient is unique.
At Alegria, Dr Gamito like to be involved in a team. It is importante for her to make the patient understand the clinical picture so he can participate in the decisions well informed. Dr Mariana is a travel addict who love to explore different countries and immerse herself in diverse cultures. The diversity of Alegria’s team and patients will certainly give her a taste of that.
